Wymark Rink Expansion Project
The Wymark Rink has long been a cornerstone of our community. Located just 15 minutes south of Swift Current, our facility has become a popular destination for skaters and hockey players from across the region. We’re proud to regularly welcome teams and families from surrounding communities.

Over the years, demand for ice time and community use has continued to grow. We are now home to our own Minor Hockey team, the Wymark Wheat Kings, which has seen incredible growth year after year, with 60 registrations this season alone. In addition to hockey, the rink hosts numerous rentals, skating events, and community suppers throughout the week, making it a hub of activity all winter long.

To continue meeting the needs of our expanding user base and to enhance the experience for everyone, we are excited to announce our next step forward:
The Wymark Rink Expansion Project.
The expansion will include...

Two new dressing rooms to better accommodate our growing teams and visiting clubs.

Two additional bathroom stalls: our current facility has only one stall for men and one for women, which is not enough to handle the high traffic our rink receives during events and games.

A dedicated Zamboni room to support efficient rink maintenance and operations.
These additions will help ensure the Wymark Rink remains a thriving community space for years to come. We are reaching out to local businesses, organizations, and individuals to help make this expansion possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports our mission of keeping community recreation alive and accessible for everyone.
Together, we can build on the strong foundation that’s already been created and ensure the Wymark Rink continues to serve as a source of pride and connection for our entire area.
